The infrastructure is becoming more connected

In a November 2025 update, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry reported that the Unified Logistics Interface Platform, or ULIP, connected 44 systems across 11 ministries through 136 APIs. The same update reported more than 2,000 data fields. These are dated platform-level figures, not measurements of Gowtham Cargo’s systems.

The update also described collaboration with Andhra Pradesh’s INCAP on a logistics dashboard. It illustrates how shared data can support operational analysis as well as the movement of an individual shipment.

An integration should serve a business task

Blue Dart’s published business-integration information describes tools for connecting shipment status and delivery notifications with customer systems. This is a useful industry example of designing around information that a customer needs to act on; it does not imply an integration or partnership between the companies mentioned here.

Define the events before choosing the dashboard

Our practical recommendation is to begin with a short list of events: pickup, dispatch, arrival, delivery and exceptions relevant to the service. Agree what each event means, who records it and how it is linked to the customer’s order or shipment reference.

Then decide where that information should go. An operations team may need a queue of exceptions; a customer-service team may need a delivery update; an ERP may need a status against an order. Showing every data point on one screen is less useful than connecting the right information to a clear action.

Plan for imperfect information

Ask how duplicate events, missing references and delayed updates are handled. A timestamp should distinguish when an event happened from when it reached the receiving system. Agree who investigates a mismatch and how corrections appear in reports.

Access should match the business purpose. Define which team can see which records, what information is exchanged, and how a connection will be tested before it supports live operations. These are implementation questions to resolve with your technology and logistics teams.

Our approach

Gowtham Cargo’s owner describes internal operational applications, AI/ML-supported planning and ERP integration capabilities. Integration scope must still be agreed for each environment. We do not claim that every ERP connects without configuration, or that our systems are connected to ULIP.

Start with the workflow you need to improve. The right discussion covers shipment references, event definitions, reports and ownership—not simply whether an API exists.
